In order for AccuFrame™ System to provide the maximum benefit for you and other contractors, we are soliciting your input to tell us what kind of framing methods are standard in your community. We recognize that different framing practices are dictated by geographical demands, and traditionally have been passed down from mature carpenter to junior carpenter apprentice. We are organizing a conscious effort to provide our customers with the most widely used techniques for framing like: Corner detail (L shape California Corners); Partition tie-in detail, horizontal ladder type, 2x6 vertical backer; Header detail for 8’-9’-10’ walls i.e. header placed at bottom plate with cripple build down verses header placed at rough opening heights cripples over; Openings i.e. double jack; double sills, etc., etc. You know, the stuff you like to use and normally see in your region.
