AccuFrame's Green-Technology

News release, AccuFrame™ Green-Technology:

Notice of Allowance has been granted by the United States Patent Office to expand the claims of United States patent 6,766,282; under Continuation in Part, intellectual property (IP) rights owned by Schettine Associates Inc. (SAI).  Building further upon our recent patent expansion into Canada, we are pleased to announce another milestone for SAI.  Additional commercially significant patent claims have been added to SAI’s already broad IP portfolio creating an integrated family of AccuFrame™ products that range from the ‘Do it Your-self’ market segment to the energy conscious pro-builder.   AccuFrame™ Green-Technology templates are printed on a gasket-forming substrate or alternatively the gasket seal is applied directly to the Tyvek® substrate that allows weather sealing capabilities, reducing air infiltration in the wall cavity for the entire building envelope.   “Printing framing layout information on a sealing gasket provides a unique and triple -purpose application for the industry.   For the builder, immediate savings of up to 10-15% from reduced framing cycles have been recorded. AccuFrame™ Green-Technology product’s most important contribution is to our environment and the downstream homeowner who will realize energy savings in heating and cooling month-after-month”  said Michael C. Schettine, President/founder of SAI.  Schettine also mentioned that additional international intellectual property releases are expected.

AccuFrame Expands to Japan

News release, AccuFrame™ enters Japanese patent arena:

Schettine Associates Inc. (SAI) continues on-track with its strong intellectual property (IP) expansion into Japan, the first Asian marketplace for AccuFrame™ System. Leveraging our recent success in patent protection in the Untied States, Canada, and now Japan, our IP surge has reached ‘full circle’ as Osaka, Japan was the origin of the AccuFrame™ concept. From a practical standpoint, Japan is a logical marketing point for our IP as it is the second largest home building sector in the world. AccuFrame’s template solution is ideally suited for the Japanese home building market as overland transportation issues on narrow roads and small building lots in Japan are a huge negative factor, making pre-built housing components difficult to traverse, maneuver and install.  Rising fuel cost has world-wide automation vendors looking for viable alternatives to get their construction data into the customer’s hands, and AccuFrame™ fits that model perfectly!  “Our IP proprietary date reaches back to April, 2000 providing us and our Japanese partners total ‘Freedom to Operate’ in a completely untapped market”, said Michael Schettine President/founder SAI.
